The United States continues to look for ways to increase energy security, to promote new agricultural and local economies, and to develop a healthier environment. Biofuels can make an important contribution to these goals. The Biofuels Institute was founded in 2009 to help promote the development of renewable energy initiatives by providing a format to bring together experts from the worlds of business, academia, communities, investments, policymaking, research, law, utilities, and finance to address specific issues often overlooked by larger industry conferences. In addition to sharing technical advancements with interested parties, our conferences also provide networking opportunities with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and segments of the often-compartmentalized biofuels industry.
